How to Deal with Drain Stoppages
Stoppages in drains are a common problem, which can be solved and even prevented, with the help of a professional hydro jetting. Power Washer Drain Hydro Jetting
Power washer drain hydro jetting is a specialized drain cleaning method and one of the most advanced technologies in the field. A thin tube is inserted into the opening of your drain and, once it’s secured, pressurized hot water is pushed through your entire drainage system.
Think of the power washers used to clean decks, porches and boats. The purpose and effect of power washer drain hydro jetting works much the same way. The incredible force of the water, coupled with the high temperature, is enough to break down, loosen and remove any sediment, particles or other unwanted build-up in the system. The average power washer drain hydro jetting you might find at your local hardware store, can achieve pressures anywhere between 1000 psi and 4500 psi. The hydro jetter we own here at Drain Rescue can reach pressures of 7,000 psi to 60,000 psi. If there is a clog that can withstand this kind of pressure, Drain Rescue has yet to encounter it.

Our scrambling one night last week trying to find a reliable plumbing company to fix that dreaded sewage backup problem in the furnace room landed us with Drain Rescue Services, and lucky for us it was a right decision. A team was called in the following morning and work started right away, which included ripping up part of the basement flooring and digging deep into the front lawn. The work went smoothly all to way until the job was properly finished in three and a half days. I just want to thank Dwayne and his crew from the 1 Wilson St location for the wonderful job they did at my home. Major underground pipe repair. On a very miserable cold and snowy Saturday in January, Drain Rescue arrived to install a new main sewer pipe from the sewer connection at the street into our home. This was a very big job completed in 8 hours by a team of highly skilled men. They worked non-stop. Two holes had to be dug on our front lawn and driveway, more than 8 feet deep where a man went down and dealt with the broken clay sewer pipe and assisted with the new pipes installation.
The work also involved digging in our basement for the pipe connection. The men put down coverings to protect our floors in the areas where they would work. When the work was completed the inside and outside of our home were left very clean.
